Why Charlie Harper drank Radeberger Pilsner
A German beer
Do you know that when you for instance drive along a road many times and you know this street very well. And one day you notice a specific house or a specific front yard which you find very nice or very interesting? Although you have seen this house or front yard many times before you really didn´t see it. But from this day on you notice it every time you pass by.
I had such an experience with the TV-show “Two and a Half Men“. I watched that show many times after coming home from work. Beside all the pretty women I liked little Jake and Berta the most.
Staying at home all day long the main character Charlie Harper was used to drink either whisky or beer or margaritas very often.
After I have seen Charlie Harper drinking beer so many times I onced paid attention to that bottle of beer. Somehow it looks familiar. But I didn´t think much further about it.
But this was the beginning of the hunt for the beer. Every time the bottle was shown I looked on it. And more and more I thought that bottle looks like a German beer. You should know that there are hundreds of breweries in Germany…
